Hey there, my name is Ian Aisling and I am a professional piano technician certified through the International Piano Technicians School. As a lifelong pianist and lover of pianos, I became inspired to learn about the craft as I often encountered pianos that sounded and played far below their potential due to a lack of proper care. After completing my training in 2023, I’ve had the privilege of adjusting numerous pianos to the high standard I’ve always sought as a pianist and session musician.
With a strong background in jazz and contemporary piano performance, years of experience as a composer, and a deep understanding of how a well-maintained instrument can unlock a player’s full expression, I approach every tuning with both technical precision and musical sensitivity. Whether I’m preparing a piano for a recording session, recital, or living room enjoyment, I bring a musician’s ear and a technician’s hand to ensure each instrument not only sounds great — but inspires the people who play it.
